As reported by Mr. Jin Jianxiang, Chairman of Supcon Solar, Supcon Delingha 10MW molten salt tower CSP plant has been operating quite well till now since its revamping in August 2016. The project is China 1st commercial CSP plant with molten salt.

Next to the 10MW plant, Supcon is developing the SUPCON Solar Delingha 50MW Molten Salt Tower CSP Project with 7 hours storage. The project is among China 1st batch of 20 pilot projects and leading the development progress. The construction of the 50MW plant was started at the end of October 2016, and the working staff now are busy with the installations of tower, storage tank and heliostats. Hopefully it will be operational by the year of 2018.
