Supcon Solar Delingha 50MW CSP plant was selected to be one of China 1st batch of CSP pilot projects on September 2016. As the project developer SUPCON Solar announced earlier, the construction work was officially recovered on March 5th after the freezing cold winter. And the project is going to be finished by the end of 2018 as planned.

As CSP Focus reported, SUPCON Delingha CSP project was started in October 2016, and till now the receiver tower has been finished 73.5 meters of the designed height of 180 meters.

To secure the project quality, the construction work had to be suspended due to the low temperature of -20℃. In the future, the CSP plant will be constructed on schedule as below:

• June, 2018, tower completed;

• August, 2018, solar field completed;

• October, 2018, all project installation to be finished and start commissioning;

• December, 2018, to be connected to the grid;

• February, 2019, stably operational.
