As a well-known CSP tower pioneer in China, SUPCON Solar has been devoting into independent R &D of molten salt CSP tower technology, project development and construction, and focusing on CSP key component development for over 8 years. 

July 2013, SUPCON built 10MW tower CSP project in Delingha, which is the first commercial CSP tower project in China and the third in the world. Molten salt renovation was finished on Aug. 2016. Over 95% core equipment was make in China, which broke the monopoly of overseas molten salt CSP tower project core technology and it was a great milestone of CSP technology localization.

September 2016, SUPCON Solar Delingha 50MW CSP plant was selected to be one of China 1st batch of CSP pilot projects. As Mr. Jin Jianxiang, Chairman of SUPCON Solar introduced earlier on CSP Focus China March conference, the 50MW project will be finished by the end of this year and achieve stable output in February 2019.

Till now, SUPCON Solar has been participating around 1GW CSP projects in China as project developer, EPC, engineer and technology provider.
