The developmental process of Luyang Energy-saving Materials Co., Ltd. is not only an epitome of China's reform and opening up for the past 30 years but also the history of Chinese ceramic fiber science and technology progress. From the small electric stove produced low-grade ceramic fiber in 1980s to the world advanced technology produced high-grade ceramic fiber and high quality energy-saving materials that is made from coal gangue waste, Luyang personnel turn waste into wealth with their own wisdom and faith. At present, Luyang company produces 80,000 tons of high-grade ceramic fiber yearly, accounted for 80% of the national refractory fiber market share; thermal insulating ceramic fiber’s annual output is 120,000 tons, accounted for 25% of the national industrial thermal insulation material market share; new product of Basalt fiber has become an excellent rookie as a new high-end building insulation material in the field of buildings’ energy efficiency. With more than 100 varieties, Luyang products are widely used in the field of petrochemical, metallurgy, building materials, electric power, machinery, construction and many other industries.
