Founded in 1817, John Cockerill group has witnessed a history of 202 years. John Cockerill Solar, relying on technical advantages of the group, has developed DSG tower receiver and molten salt solar receivers since its establishment in 2008, recently developed steam generating system (SGS), dedicated to CSP application.
Solar receivers from John Cockerill Solar have its unique characteristics, such as the use of high quality panels, heat absorption coating with superior performance, self-developed software in combination with infrared camera monitoring etc., John Cockerill Solar has owned a number of patents, and successfully applied these patented technologies to its specific orders.
John Cockerill Solar has rich experience in supplying receivers for 50MWe and above tower projects , DSG 50MWe receiver for Khi Solar One power plant in South Africa have been put into commercial operation for a long time. Chilean 110MWe Cerro Dominador project has been restarted and is under construction. John Cockerill Solar actively cooperated with domestic EPC companies and signed the supply contract of 50MWe tower receiver of Luneng Haixi project with Shandong Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd (SEPCO3) at the end of 2017, and the supply contract of 100 MWe tower receiver of DEWA project with Shanghai Electric Group at end of 2018.
In the aspect of steam generator system, John Cockerill Solar has developed a special steam generator system dedicated to CSP application with unique advantages and characteristics, and actively participated in the development and construction of solar thermal projects at home and abroad.
