CSP Services GmbH (CSPS) is a German based independent private company. It was established in 2007 as spin-off of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and has work teams in Cologne (Germany) and in Almería (Spain). CSP Services systems are used in Europe, Africa, Asia and North & South America. Our measurement devices, analysis and services have been used during the entire CSP deployment phase from 2007 by over 200 commercial clients worldwide.
QFoto systems already provided quality assurance for concentrator steel structures in over 30 commercial CSP plants worldwide with more than 2.200 MW of total electric power output. As recent highlight, QFoto has been ordered to perform the geometric quality control of the largest CSP project in the world, the 600 MW parabolic trough plants in the Mohamed bin Rashid Solar Park in Dubai, promoted by DEWA.
QDec system measures the shape accuracy of mirror panels in serial production and also for entire trough modules and heliostats. It is used in the German DLR QUARZ laboratory and in all major CSP mirror fabrication lines for more than 20 different mirror panel geometries. In the CPECC Hami 50MW project QDec is used for quality control of complete STELLIO heliostats in the assembly line.
QFly services use the most advanced system in the field of optical characterization of CSP plants. It won the 2018 SolarPACES Technology Award and the 2019 CSPPLAZA Technology Innovation Award. QFly provides shape and tracking results of parabolic troughs and characterizes the thermal properties of aged receiver tubes. QFly has already been utilized in commercial applications around the world. With the data unveiled by QFly, the commissioning time of a CSP plant can be shortened and the yield of the plant can be boosted. The measurement of an entire solar field with several square kilometers size takes only few days.
