The Dresden-based company InfraTec GmbH Infrarotsensorik und Messtechnik is a specialist for products and services in the field of infrared technology. It is active in all areas of thermographic applications, with its scope of performance ranging from the sales of thermographic cameras to the supply of thermal imaging systems and turn-key thermographic automation solutions. One of these solutions regarding concentrated solar power (CSP) is the Solar Power Tower Check (SPTC). This fully automated system uses infrared technology to monitor the central absorber of a solar tower power plant.
It enables to reduce maintenance costs and to prevent cost-intensive downtimes due to overheating. The turnkey solution for monitoring incorporates HD thermography cameras and optimised tele lenses, which guarantee long-term precise and reliable temperature measurements via long distance. This optimised system for commissioning and regular operation of CSP solar power tower plants is delivered and integrated worldwide.
InfraTec was founded in 1991 and, with its own capacities in manufacturing and development, employs about 230 staff now. For nearly 30 years, the company has been supplying thermal imaging technology to demanding customers in the energy industry.
