Parabolic trough collector system



Sundhy chengdu RZC50 parabolic trough collector assembly (SCA) has a total length of about 50m, including 8 collector units (SCE), 1 set of drive columns, 8 sets of support columns, and a reducer drive system. Ground Control System (LOC) and associated instruments.


Each collector unit (SCE) consists of a steel frame support supporting 2 rows and 4 columns of 8 RC4 mirrors and three collector tubes. The focal length of the parabolic mirror is 850mm, the length of a single heat collecting tube is about 2040mm, and the outer diameter of the stainless steel heat absorbing tube is about 40mm.


Each reducer drive system consists of a motor drive system that is tracked with the Local Control System (LOC) Control Collector Set (SCA).


A temperature sensor is placed on the collector assembly (SCA). The end of the collector assembly (SCA) is connected to the fixed pipe by a metal hose and is insulated.
