Invested anddeveloped by Beijing Shouhang IHW Resources Saving Technology Co., Ltd (SunCan,its CSP co-compnay), SunCan Dunhuang 10MW molten salt tower CSP plant comes tocommissioning stage, and will get on to grid and operate very soon by the endof this year.  

As reported by CSPFocus earlier, the 10MW plant is the 1^st Phase project by SunCan,and started construction in August 2014. With total investment of RMB 420million, the project is equipped with 15 hours storage system, taking 5,800tons of molten salt, over 1,500 heliostats and 130m tower. The project isexpected to be China 1^st CSP plant which could operate 24 hours/day.

Together with the1^st Phase of 10MW plant, the 2^nd Phase of 100MW MS Towerplant broke ground in November 2015, and it has been selected as one of China 1^ststage 20 CSP pilot projects, enjoying FiT of RMB1.15/kWh. And resources say the3^rd Phase of 300MW has been planned and signed investment agreementwith local government.
